Hello, Bill
Thank you for your response.
I understand 1.6.0 is too old, but the latest release. I may use it.

However, I thought 1.6.0 is the latest release.

Which is the latest one? and where I can get it?
1.6.0 is the latest official release, but it is also quite old. I think it
was released in 2009. Development stalled for a while, so I believe it
was purged from the mirrors due to lack of activity. However, I'm not
certain of the exact details.
While it is old, 1.6.0 is still definitely usable. I still use it for several
webservices, although I did backport a few fixes for bugs that were causing me
problems.
A few of us have started work toward the 1.7.0 release, but there is a
lot of work to do, so it will likely be many months before it is ready.
However, once the release happens, I expect it will be available on the
main mirrors once again.
Regards,
Bill
